Raffles American School is a US WASC-accredited international school that offers university preparation. Graduates earn an American High School Diploma, which is recognized globally by Colleges and Universities. This diploma demonstrates that students have completed a rigorous academic program tailored to their individual career goals. Students can choose to pursue college-level Advanced Placement (AP) courses as part of their pathway to higher education.

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING
In our secondary program, students receive personalized guidance to create a graduation plan that aligns with their interests and career goals. From Grades 9–12, students meet with our dedicated counsellor to select courses, discuss career ambitions, and explore co-curricular activities, community service, and other non-academic interests that can enhancetheir university applications.

COLLEGE FAIRS
Each year, we invite college recruiters to visit our school for a college fair. This provides our secondary students with the chance to meet university representatives, ask questions, and learn about degree programs, prerequisite courses, and campus life. courses, discuss career ambitions, and explore co-curricular activities, community service, and other non-academic interests that can enhance their university applications.

SAT TEST PREPARATIONS
As an official SAT testing site, Raffles American School offers both the PSAT and SAT exams. Grade 10 students take the PSAT in October to help them prepare. The SAT is offered in March and Grade 11 students are encouraged to take the test at least once. Grade 12 students can retake the SAT if needed before submitting college applications. In addition to being a testing site, we offer SAT exam preparation to help our secondary students succeed.

ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP)
Raffles American School offers 13 Advanced Placement courses: Art and Design, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Calculus, Statistics, Economics, Language and Composition, Literature and Composition, Human Geography, World History, and Mandarin. These college-level courses give secondary students the critical thinking skills, knowledge, and independent study experience they need for university success. Each Advanced Placement course culminates in an external exam the College Board sets. Students who score between 3 and 5 may earn college credit at the university they attend.

INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMME (IBDP)
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is an internationally recognized program that emphasizes academic achievement, intercultural tolerance, and student enrichment. Offered over two years (Grades 11 and 12), the IBDP encourages students to think critically and engage in six rigorous subject exams supervised by an international body. This challenging program prepares students to become well-rounded individuals capable of making meaningful contributions to the world through cross-cultural communication,
